A core part of our mission is TNVR (Trap–Neuter–Vaccinate–Return) to humanely manage and protect the island cat populations. We carry out TNVR continuously at both our permanent clinics and through pop-up clinics held 4–6 times a year on Gili Meno, Gili Air, and Gili Trawangan.
These pop-ups also offer treatments, vaccinations, parasite control, and health checks. We also believe in community outreach to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
And we’re not done yet—we’re working toward expanding these efforts to North Lombok soon!
TNVR Process:
Did you know?
In just 16 months, one unspayed female cat and her offspring can result in up to 2,000 island cats!
Cats reproduce at an astonishing rate, especially in warm climates like the Gilis where breeding happens year-round. That’s why TNVR (Trap–Neuter–Vaccinate–Return) is one of the core pillars of our work.
By sterilising and vaccinating island cats through our clinics and pop-up programs, we help keep the population healthy, manageable, and safe—for both animals and the community.
